Buy Your Perfect Car, Support the Perfect Cause In the spring of 2013 we had an idea.  It started with a request from Crista Camps regarding their special camp for children of deployed military personnel.  With advertising budgets already set, and not a lot of wiggle room, we decided that we would donate $25 from every vehicle we sold in the month of April 2013.  The more vehicles we sell, the more we can donate.  It was such a huge success that we dreamed up "Buy Your Perfect Car, Support the Perfect Cause", and launched our first campaign for the months of May and June.  But which charity?  Since it was our first time out of the gate, and we all ready had a history with the Humane Society we decided that we would make the local Human Society to each store our "Perfect Cause".  It was a wonderful success! Our Olympia Location promoted the Thurston County Humane Society and at the end of the campaign Bruce Titus handed them a check for $7,725....

JBLM Pampered Spouse Event - 10.6.13 October 5th and 6th were busy for the BTAG team.  We were at the LIC Fiber Arts Show all day Saturday, and then off to St. Martin's Pavilion in Lacey for the Ranger/Airlifter JBLM Pampered Spouse Event. This annual event is held as a special thank you to the spouses and future spouses of our military personnel.  It is a day of pampering.  Admittedly this event is geared toward the female population, it is open to all spouses and significant others.  The Ranger/Airlifter are the primary coordinators and sponsors of this event with help from local organization such as the Bruce Titus Automotive Group. The entire event was by RSVP and FREE, those wanting to attend were supposed to pre-register through a special site via the Ranger/Airlifter website.  They had to close it off at 1300 RSVP!  With over a 1000 people on hand (mostly women), they were set for a day of games, contests, fashion shows and pampering...

Fiber Arts Show - October 5, 2013 If you haven't had the opportunity to make it out to Longbranch, you are missing out on a beautiful drive and community.  The Longbranch Improvement Club is the hub of the community, and seems to have something going on just about all the time.  From regular club socials, meetings and dances to events like the Annual Old Timer's Day and Logging show, and the 6th Annual Fiber Arts Show.  We were delighted when they asked if we would be interested in sponsoring the event.  We have been involved with a number of events such as the Drum Festival and the previously mentioned Old Timer's Day and Logging Show back in August.  Where is Longbranch?  we get this question a lot.  "Where are you going to be this weekend?"  " Longbranch...." Summer was busy at the Bruce Titus Automotive Group The summer is busy for everyone and the crew at Bruce Titus Automotive Group were busier than ever this year with events.  We have had the privilege of hanging out with some of the most incredible people and partnering, through sponsorship and event participation, to help many organizations make their events a positive experience for their community. Below are just some of the Highlights from our summer shenanigans: June 15:  Jeep Jam Participants had the opportunity to learn some wonderful off-roading technique and skills from members of the County Line Off Roaders , and the Pacific NW 4WD Association in the relative safety, at least more controlled, environment of the Bruce Titus Olympia Jeep lot.  Obstacles such as the Teeter-totter, the Rock crawl and the Jack n Jill Course were available to practice on.  A very successful raffle was held to raise money for the Future Four Wheelers of the PNW4WDA . ...

One of the fastest   growing car shows of summers past takes another step forward in becoming bigger and better! Previously known as the Nissan & Mitsubishi meet, taking place at Bruce Titus Olympia Nissan , the new event will be the talk of the car scene.  This Friday, August 18, 2013, come to South Sound Speedway for the first annual South Sound Summer Jam . The event is sponsored by Bruce Titus Automotive Group and will surely be a hit as we have had to expand our space from our Olympia Nissan dealership to renting out an entire raceway. Cars and trucks of ALL makes and models are encouraged to come join the action! There will be two different drift competitions and a car show open to all makes with best in class trophies. A team tandem drift competition with a $1000 Grand Prize and a demo style solo drift competition will be on the list of events for the day. Tacoma Subaru Big NW pre-meet with ESX Motorsports, June 23, 2013 What does one say when in the presence of greatness.........we just say WOW!!!  What a great event.  Despite the weather we had a great meet at Tacoma Subaru.  Many were weary eyed from the previous days festivities at Forum Fest, but they were there, and we had a great time. The focus point of this year's meet was by far the ESX Motorsports BRZ.  What a beauty!!  We will let the pictures do the talking. SIP Child Safety Fair presented by Bruce Titus Olympia Chrysler, Jeep, Mitsubishi and Olympia Nissan was a big hit among parents and kids alike. The event was held in the area directly behind Olympia Nissan at 2220 Carriage St SW in Olympia.  Everyone was invited (see previous blog entry for event details). We had some great vendors on hand to lend advice and provide information about area events and organizations.  World Martial Arts was on hand to demonstrate the positive side of Martial Arts and to discuss basic and practical self defense with parents and small children.  Marla, a parent of a 7 yo little girl was impressed by the daughter of the owner and her confidence and had this to say:  "I always thought Martial Arts [Karate] was all about teaching kids to fight, I learned today that it is about teaching them not to fight.  A real eye opener."  After a demonstration by the owner's daughter (a couple days shy of 12 years old) and seeing h...
