Operation Shore Patrol 2017

Image
pnw4wda.org pnw4wda.org On the third weekend every September the small coastal town of Grayland is invaded by Jeep clubs.  Actually they are invaded by Jeep clubs and bargain hunters, as this weekend is also their 30 miles of Junk sale weekend, but that is not what this is about.  Why you may ask.  Operation Shore Patrol ! Operation Shore Patrol was founded in 1971 by the Pacific Northwest Four Wheel Drive Association ( PNW4WDA ) and supported by Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission, Dept. of Ecology and The Ocean Conservancy, Operation Shore Patrol is an annual clean up of Washington State Coastline beaches.  Through continued support of local regional and national organization this initiative has been able to continually rid our beaches of litter and debris that accumulates from public use, illegal dumping and from the Pacific Ocean. The PNW4WDA which is dedicated to preserving our environment for future generations saw the need to form an ...

Tacoma Subaru Welcomes New Owners

Image
In February the Bruce Titus Automotive Group introduced the New Owner's Clinic at all of our locations. We recognize that the buying experience is exciting, but let's face it, there is a lot of information to process.  Perhaps you spent months researching cars...that's a lot of information.  Then you test drove several brands, then you decided on the brand, and now you have to pick a car.  That's a lot of information.  Then you go to the dealer, and they give you even more information.  Then you test drive.  Then you talk numbers.  Then there is financing options.  Through all of that there is excitement.  More for some than others.  Often the car buying process is a very pragmatic necessary task, and for others it is like opening presents on Christmas.  But for everyone....there is a LOT of information. So we found that customers were often stopping by 30/60/90 days after their purchase with questions.  It usually starts ...

2017 Event Recap - It's been a busy year so far

Image
The Bruce Titus Automotive Group is committed to the communities where we work and live.  With that in mind, all of our locations spend a lot of time volunteering in the community and supporting local events.  Here are just a few of the things we have been involved with so far this year. After the craziness of the holiday season, the entire staff looks forward to January.  All things go back to business as usual, kids go back to school, life and business resume.  However, some of us, we look forward to it because January is SNOW JAM month!  Snow Jam is an annual fundraising event hosted by the County Line Offroaders . Snow Jam is a family friendly off road poker run in the Hills of Elbe, and the clubs primary fundraiser for the year.  The CLO (and most off road groups) support local charities and outdoor recreation advocacy. While the title of the event is "Snow" Jam, in true Washington fashion, there isn't always snow, and event will often get a nick...

Woofstock 2015

Image
This weekend we had the pleasure of participating in Woofstock 2015.  This was Tacoma Subaru's 2nd year being involved in this event, and it was every bit as satisfying as the first year.  It was a beautiful day at Todd field at University of Puget sound, where Dugan Foundation and Pawsitive Alliance presented the 8th annual Woofstock. There were 27 rescues and shelters that brought over 220 animal to find loving homes.  There were cats, kittens, dogs, bunnies, and even reptiles! The unofficial number of adoptions is 105!  The organizers expect that number to climb as they reconcile records, and those adoptions that required a little more time, such as home visits or vet checks are counted. There were plenty of vendors and information booths on hand, and we were serenaded through the event by local musical talent that volunteered their time and talent to make this the best event ever. Musical talent in attendance: Jeff Ross & Jessica Abbo...
