Woofstock 2015
This weekend we had the pleasure of participating in Woofstock 2015. This was Tacoma Subaru's 2nd year being involved in this event, and it was every bit as satisfying as the first year. It was a beautiful day at Todd field at University of Puget sound, where Dugan Foundation and Pawsitive Alliance presented the 8th annual Woofstock. There were 27 rescues and shelters that brought over 220 animal to find loving homes. There were cats, kittens, dogs, bunnies, and even reptiles! The unofficial number of adoptions is 105! The organizers expect that number to climb as they reconcile records, and those adoptions that required a little more time, such as home visits or vet checks are counted. There were plenty of vendors and information booths on hand, and we were serenaded through the event by local musical talent that volunteered their time and talent to make this the best event ever.
